Team Requirements
Prerequisite Experience
Students joining VEX IQ STEM Lab competition must complete at least one year of VEX IQ STEM Labs before being eligible for competition teams.
Commitment
All competition team members must be available to participate in all competition matches throughout the season.
Equipment
All competition team members must purchase at least one set of VEX IQ Competition Kits.
Teamwork
Demonstrate strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Problem Solving
Show advanced problem-solving abilities and creative thinking in robotics challenges.
Communication and Collaboration
All the prototyping for the competition needs to be communicated and coordinated with head coach.
What is VEX IQ Competition?
VEX IQ Competition is a robotics competition designed for elementary and middle school students. Teams work together to design, build, and program robots to complete specific challenges on a game field.
Our competition teams meet every Sunday from 12:30-2:30 PM, starting September 7th. Students learn advanced robotics concepts, strategic thinking, and competition skills while preparing for regional and potentially world championships.
